Explorer Grants

The Hudson City Schools Foundation (HCSF) was created in 2008 by community leaders desiring to establish a source of supplemental funding for Hudson's public schools and enhance the educational experiences of students primarily in the areas of Academics, Arts, and Athletics.

2025 HCSF Explorer Grants support educational initiatives that explore new frontiers in Hudson City Schools, PK-Grade 12 and promote the teaching and learning process.

Grant requests may focus on classroom enhancements that support:

Improving the Academic skills, Arts exposure, or Athletics experiences of students.

Involving parents in the teaching/learning process.

Broadening cooperation between the community and school.

Testing ideas that are designed to improve instruction and learning experiences.

Individual teachers may request a grant of up to $750 for classroom enhancements. Submissions due by 9/12/25.
